Being born and raised in North Yorkshire, I aim to deliver good honest Yorkshire pub food at the Blacksmiths.
Having taken the pub over in May 2021, I wanted to continue the strong links we have with local producers. Whether it’s game from nearby shoots, the beef from local farmers, or the gin and tonics behind the bar. It’s essential we utilise the quality that surrounds us close by.
Having worked in kitchens since I was 17, food is my passion, whether it’s cooking (or eating) it. You’ll generally find me in the kitchen at the Blacksmiths.
Be it dinner, a bed for the night or just a pint, you’ll get a good portion of Yorkshire hospitality.

Food Is Served
We look forward to welcoming you to The Blacksmiths Arms Lastingham be it for lunch, dinner or a pizza in the garden.
The chef starts at 12 noon till 4.00 pm and our evenings from 5.00 pm till 8.30 pm Monday to Saturday.
Our Sunday roast is served from 12pm to 4.30pm.

Our rooms at The Blacksmiths Arms have all undergone a complete renovation. All our rooms are ensuite and feature some little touches to make your stay even more enjoyable. After a comfy night’s sleep wake up to a proper Yorkshire breakfast before going off and exploring the North Yorkshire Moors.
Grouse
Inspired from the grouse moors a stone’s throw away from The Blacksmiths. A double bed awaits with an oversized bespoke padded headboard and en-suite shower room. Just £115 per night with breakfast included.
Partridge
A large super king room with en suite shower, which can be made into a twin room on request. This room benefits from a bespoke illuminated wooden headboard along with herringbone wool walls for a warm and cosy feel. £115 per night with breakfast included. Additional camp bed available at £30 per night.
Pheasant
A double room furnished to a high standard with a large bathroom and double-ended bathtub and (included as standard with every room) Molton Brown toiletries. £115 per night with breakfast included.
Upcoming Events
We have live music acts performing across the summer in our large beer garden at the back of the pub. So why not come down for a drink and a sing-a-long.
Christmas Craft Fair
Get into the festive spirit and start your Christmas shopping at the Blacksmiths Arms Christmas Fair. we’ll be joined by some of our favorite suppliers from the local area.Sunday 26th November - 6pm
Christmas Quiz
Our charity Christmas quiz night will be raising money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Teams are a maximum of 4 and it’s £10 per team. No need to book in just join us on the night.Sunday 3rd December - 7pm
